The hanging chains and hanging hooks are included. Constructed of high-quality, #1 grade Southern Yellow Pine, this swing is protected by environmentally- and family-friendly pressure-treated preservatives that give it a lifetime of weather resistance. All nuts, bolts and screws have a hot-dipped galvanized coating, and all nails are stainless steel for additional protection against the elements.If you'd like to prolong the life of your swing we recommend staining with a transparent stain or similar protectant. Due to the pressure treatment process this wood has undergone, painting this swing with solid color paint is not recommended.
